What we need:
1 lb chicken liver soaked in milk for 15 minutes. Rinse it well and keep aside
2 medium onions finely chopped
1 small tomato finely chopped
2tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 small piece of cinnamon stick
5 cloves
1/2 tsp fennel powder
1 1/2 tsp Chili powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
3 tbsp oil
1 sprig curry leaves
Chopped cilantro for garnish

How to cook:
1.In a pan heat oil
2.Add cumin seeds cinnamon sticks and cloves.
3.Sauté for 30 seconds, add ginger garlic paste. Cook for 2 minutes.
4.Add onions, sauté till the onions are brown, and then tomatoes and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
5.Add fennel powder, corriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and Chilli powder.
6.Mix it well cook for 2 more minutes.
7.Add 1/2 cup of water , cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
8.Add the chicken liver and salt
9.Stir well cover and cook on medium flame foe 10 to 15 minutes or till the liver is well cooked.
10.Adjust the salt and spices and cook for 2 to 3 minutes , garnish with cilantro and serve.
●Best to eat with Malabar parathas and Chapatis.
