What we need:
4 medium potatoes cut lengthwise
1 tsp black pepper powder
1tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp Chana Dal
1 tsp urad Dal
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Chilli flakes
1 sprig curry leaves
Salt to taste
2 to 3 tbsp oil to shallow fry potatoes

How to cook:
1.In a pan pour 2 to 3 tbsp oil. When the oil gets really hot fry the potatoes till they get golden brown.
2.Keep it aside.
3.In the same pan add the left over oil from frying potatoes, add Urad Dal and Chana Dal.
4.When it turns light brown add mustard seed and curry leaves.
5.Add the potatoes and stir well.
6.Add pepper powder, Chili flakes and salt to taste, mix well.
7. Cover and cook on low flame for 6 to 8 minutes.
9. Add the lemon juice mix well
●This can be served with Rice and Chappatis or with drinks as a snack
